Evergreen Line has announced a rate increase on the Far East/Indian sub-continent to Europe and Mediterranean westbound trade.

         Evergreen said that on 1 May it would increase rates by US$225 per 20ft container, $450/40ft and $550/40ft high-cube.

         The increase would apply to all cargo and commodities, including temperature-controlled and reefer freight.
