The International Container Transhipment Terminal (ICTT) project at Kochi reached two milestones with the arrival of six rubber-tyred gantry cranes, the first of a batch of 15 to be deployed for yard operations; and completion of all 11 bridges for the National Highway connectivity for the project, the Hindu reported.

The completion of the road connectivity is the more significant of the two, the road connectivity being central to the project's proposed soft launch in July.
