PIL Pacific International Lines (PIL) and Wan Hai Lines have resumed their Far East-northern Europe service (FES) after demand on the route picked up.

Reduced demand as a result of the global economic crisis was the main factor in suspending the service at the end of 2008. It was replaced by a slot-charter operation.
