The recovery is under way in Australia, according to economic indicators such as container traffic, the Age reported.

New figures show record container imports in Melbourne and Sydney.

In Melbourne, total trade has now drawn level with pre-crisis volumes; growth in container movements in February was 23.6 percent above the same month last year. In Sydney, Port Botany's container throughput was up 25.4 percent over the same period.
