Equipment supplier SCF Group has unveiled a transport container which it claims will revolutionise the industry.

The 40ft box is said to be the first of its kind, utilising moulded plastic bi-fold doors.

SCF Group Director Richard Sykes told IFW: This design is the only of its kind in the world and has already generated a lot of interest here in Australia.

He added: Queensland Rail and Toll Group are keen to use the container as an alternative to curtain containers, and Toll will be trialling the prototype next month.
