All-in spot rates on the Asia-Europe trade have jumped by over US$90, bucking a trend of decline over the previous 12 weeks.

A fortnightly survey carried out by IFW reveals that spot rates westbound from Asia to Europe increased to an average of around $1,895 last week.

This compares with an average of $1,802 for the week ending 23 May, which represented the 12th successive week that rates had fallen.
