Maersk Line has launched a priority service to ensure containers are loaded onto a particular vessel.

The line's Head of Revenues, Uffe Ostergaard, told IFW the price of the priority service would be based on supply and demand and could change from week to week. But he said prices per container would range from US$200 up to $3,000.
