Rates on the Asia to Europe trade have flattened, while spare vessel capacity remains at the same level as two weeks ago, according to the latest data from the IFW space and rates survey.

While the year so far has been characterised by large fluctuations in rates, the average price on the Asia to Europe trade for the week ending 7 May was US$1,815 per teu, just $3 less than at the end of April.
