NYK's Tokyo Container Terminal Corporation has started using CIS solar cells at its berths, according to the Japan Corporate News Netqwork.

            The solar cells that include copper, indium and selenium, or CIS, have been drawing attention as next-generation solar cells because they do not contain silicon, which is in short supply due to excessive demand.
