Maersk Line is set to open a direct service between southern Vietnam and Los Angeles with its premier Trans-Pacific 6 string (TP6) service, Vietnam News reported.

       Maersk will conduct the first sailing on the route on May 12 at SP-PAS International Terminal in Ba Ria-Vung Tau province.
